gnodet opened a new pull request, #13745:
URL: https://github.com/apache/maven/pull/13745
The intermediary graph rendering step in `ReactorGraph.java` used
`Engine.FDP`, which requires the `fdp` binary from graphviz. On Ubuntu GitHub
Actions runners, `apt-get install graphviz` only provides `dot`, causing all
`full-build (ubuntu-latest, *)` jobs to fail with:
```
java.io.IOException: There is no layout engine support for "fdp"
Use one of: dot
```
The intermediary graph (`target/graph/intermediary_graph.dot` and
`target/graph/intermediary_graph.svg`) is not referenced or used anywhere — it
was a development artifact. Removing it fixes the Ubuntu CI failure without any
loss of functionality.
The final high-level graph (`target/site/images/maven-deps.svg`) already
used `Engine.DOT` and is unaffected.
