Drops `maven.compiler.release` and the `checksum-plugin3` and `modello-maven-plugin` versions that equal the parent POM's, and switches the classworlds RAT configuration from the deprecated `excludes` to `inputExcludes`. `maven.compiler.source` and `target` stay because the parent does not derive them.
