Most archetype ITs only checked that the generated project built. They now check what it produced: the war (webapp, portlet), the ear (j2ee-simple), the archetype jar and the project it generates (archetype), the rendered pages (site-simple, plugin-site), and the surefire reports (quickstart). `archetype:integration-test` compares only the files listed in `reference/`, so the copied files that are not filtered are gone from the references, and the duplicate Java 7 quickstart IT is dropped. The quickstart ITs take JUnit 5 from the parent, and the plugin custom-name IT stops at `process-classes`. The README says how to test one archetype. The site-skin IT keeps its DOCTYPE-only check: the sample's rendered `index.html` still contains unevaluated Velocity (`$headContent`), so a real check would fail until the skin is fixed.
