`purge-local-repository` built every delete target from the local repository base directory, so with `aether.enhancedLocalRepository.split` it logged the deletion and left the files under `installed/` and `cached/` in place, both for `manualInclude` and for the project's dependencies. Delete targets are now looked up under each prefix the local repository manager reports. The prefixes come from probing it with a release and a snapshot of the same groupId and artifactId, once as an installed artifact and once per project remote repository, so `artifactId` and `groupId` fuzziness and version-less manual includes also reach `releases/` and `snapshots/` with `splitLocal` and `splitRemote`. Only targets that exist are deleted, which drops the "Unable to purge local repository location immediately" warning for a file that was never there. Fixes #1782 Verified: `split` + `localPrefix`, and `split` + `splitLocal` + `splitRemote` + `splitRemoteRepository` on Maven 3.9.16 → manual includes and the dependency path remove `installed/…` and `cached/central/releases/…`; purge ITs 14/14, unit tests 596 pass. Not run on Maven 4 locally. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service. To respond to the message, please log on to GitHub and use the URL above to go to the specific comment.
