A page that no menu lists, such as `docs/4.0.0/release-notes.html` on maven.apache.org, now marks the menu item whose directory is the nearest parent of its own (`docs/history.html`, "Release Notes"), with `aria-current="true"` rather than `"page"`. A directory counts only when exactly one item points into it, and a page next to an item, rather than below it, matches nothing, so a folder of unrelated pages stays unmarked. On maven-site master this marks 103 of 300 pages: 97 release notes under "Release Notes" and 6 unlisted guides under "Index (category)". No page changes its current-page marking.
