Doxia Sitetools can read pages of any format from `src/site/source`, with the file extension picking the parser (apache/maven-doxia-sitetools#735). With `-from` left out, the converter now reads a directory the same way: `.apt`, `.md`/`.markdown`, `.xml` (XDoc), `.xhtml` and `.fml`, each optionally with `.vm`. Until now a directory without `-from` failed, because format detection only worked on a single file. - Files already in the target format are skipped, so `-in src/site/source -out src/site/source -to markdown -gitMvInputToOutput` converts what is left in place. - An `.xml` file whose root element is not `<document>`, such as a `site.xml`, is skipped with a warning. - If two sources would produce the same output file (`usage.apt` and `usage.xml`), the run fails before writing anything, matching the Sitetools duplicate check. - An in-place run without `-removeIn` or `-gitMvInputToOutput` logs a warning, since each source and its converted page would then be duplicates. Verified: the in-place `-gitMvInputToOutput` run in a scratch Git repository records `usage.apt => usage.md` as a rename and leaves the converted content as a working-tree change. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
