What is the question exactly? What versioning scheme is followed by a Maven Plugin (is not semver)? Also, re "ages ago", this project is ran and maintained by unpaid volunteers, on their "best effort" time wise, so it knows to happen, that some project accumulates quite a lot of changes until it gets released. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
