The distribution module declares `apache.snapshots` as a plugin repository over `http://`, which the default `maven-default-http-blocker` mirror rejects. Every plugin metadata lookup in that module then logs a "Blocked mirror" warning with a stack trace under `-e`. Master switched to `https` in 9ae008a67d; this brings the maintenance line in line.
