I was facing this issue previously for
/archive/manifestEntries/SplashScreen-Image element. But with
maven-assembly-plugin version 2.2-beta-2, this was getting recorded in the
final jar file. So I believe this is working...
PS: I am just-another-user of maven who was watching this issue, not a maven
contributer.
