I'm using maven 2.0.9 and still setting the same issue reported in MCOMPILER-30
(closed as fixed in 2.0.2).
I believe this issue is still not fixed.
help:effective-pom shows maven-compiler-plugin, version 2.0.2.
My workaround was to add a dependency to the plugin itself on plexus-utils,
version 1.5.6.
