As per [r747652|http://svn.eu.apache.org/viewvc?view=rev&revision=747652] the
setting {{<uniqueVersion>false</uniqueVersion>}} for distribution repositories
will not be supported in Maven 3.x. This issue tracks this user visible change
for the release history.
