Trying to download the plexus archiver alpha-5 from the maven repo breaks part
way through and does not recover:
http://repo1.maven.org/maven2/org/codehaus/plexus/plexus-archiver/1.0-alpha-5/plexus-archiver-1.0-alpha-5.jar
even trying to get it with the browser fails.
I suspect this is the repository rather than maven its self.
