You are right, increasing the image resolution will make the image smaller
inside the pdf. (I don't know why it works so badly with 72dpi which is
supposed to be the fop default.) So this is the only fix of the problem for
images in apt files, for xdoc and in general, we have to recognize the size
attributes of the img tag.
