I am trying to release a parent pom without releasing the child modules.
This used to work fine with 2.0.7 version of release plugin.
To fix the Unable to Tag scm issue, I upgraded to 2.0-beta-9, and now it is
checking out all source code in target/checkout directory on mvn release:perform
It goes on for a long time before it throws , java ran out of heap error.
I tried mvn release:prepare -N -Darguments=-N, but it seems to ignore -N switch
and does the same thing again.
mvn release:perform -N -Darguments=-N
Is there any other configuration which I cans et in the POM file?
