Neil Morrison closed MDEPLOY-102.
---------------------------------
Resolution: Not A Bug
Tried the use of the packaging option as zip as the packaging type as I wanted
it specified in the pom.xml file and it worked a treat, so thanks for the heads
up.
Hadn't realised you could use a packaging type of zip - didn't think it was
supported
When you manually upload a file into Nexus you have to specify the extension
manually so assumed it needed to be done the same way.
Anyways, all good as it works, so have closed the request :)

> We build a zip bundle of files to be deployed as a set. Can deploy these ok
> but it always assumes a jar file extension, would like to upload as a zip
> file as per Nexus Upload feature
