mvn eclipse:to-maven deploy to nexus fails if nexus security is active

Hi,
mvn eclipse:to-maven
-DdeployTo=man-uploads::default::http://localhost:8081/nexus/content/repositories/man-uploads
-DeclipseDir="C:\eclipse350"
fails with an error 401 if nexus security is active. If nexus security is
switched off the deployment works fine. Is this the same root cause like
http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/MNG-4469?
Is anybody working on a bug fix already?
