I recently upgraded a build to use maven-release-plugin 2.0-beta-9 (from
beta-7) and found my use of -Darguments="-f other-pom.xml" no longer worked.
I found I was able to work around this by using -DmavenExecutorId=forked-path.
I feel it is unwise to break existing builds by switching implementations
whilst the new implementation is incomplete, and would urge that greater
importance be placed on backwards compatibility.
