OK, my workaround worked. The -f direct of of Maven is ignored by selected
plugins. If releasing, you need to (until fixed) use the main pom.xml. In the
case of the @Inject project that meant overwriting the main pom and commiting
to subvsersion. There was a small permissions issue on oss.sonatype.org that
prevented me from pushing to it over webdav, but Juven fixed that for me, and
it's all done now (barring sync to central). *This* issue can be closed,
thanks for all for help.
