The log files as enclosed are no help for solving this problem. You could try 
running with the -X option and see if any relevant information/stacktraces 
appear.

This is almost certainly some kind of classloader/class initialization issue. 

The *only way* to have this issue solved if you cannot get a better stack trace 
is to create a minimal test project (just a pom and maybe a single test class) 
that reproduces the issue. Attach such a project to this issue and it will be 
looked at. You may also want to try different junit versions (4.4, 4.6, 4.8.1 
since there are bugs relating to this within junit too.).
