org.apache.apache.resources:apache-source-release-assembly-descriptor:1.0.4
provides a zip-only and a tarball-and-zip variant, but no tarball-only option.
My current workaround is to override <attach /> to false, build both the
tarball and zip, and use build-helper-maven-plugin to attach only the tarball.
This seems like wasted cycles.
