The problem is simply located in the [pre defined
descriptors|http://maven.apache.org/plugins/maven-assembly-plugin/descriptor-refs.html],
cause they don't contain any definition for permissions
{{directoryMode/fileMode}} which can result in problems depending on the umask
which is set. My opinion is to define a default permission in those
descriptors...There is no relationship to Archiver...
