So you want to be able to specify the 'docker run --hostname' not --host.?.?.?
iirc the hostname did not propagate to DNS on bridged mode, but docker is a
fast moving speedboat and it may have changed.
In general, I still think command line append might be useful, otherwise I fear
we will change our api for docker every other week.
