Agreed - this in particular can let us have authenticators backed by PAM
(probably the easiest path for getting LDAP, MySQL, NIS, ... credentials wired
up), Kerberos and etc. But Till can probably author a more expanded blob on the
usefulness of authenticator/authenticatee modules :-)
