libmesos must match x.y.z format where x, y and z are all integers.  

I want to use a patched version of libmesos that I built myself.    I'm forced 
to use a bogus version number.  I'd prefer to use semver's "pre-release" so I 
can version it something like "0.22.0-jaybuff.1"
