Authenticator can be either a built-in default one or loaded from a module.
Dispatch code that chooses which authenticatee to instantiate lives in
{{Slave::authenticate()}}, which seems not the best place. This ticket proposes
to move authenticator / authenticatee factory implementations to a separate
file and to put factory declarations in appropriate interfaces.
