Compressed artifacts get decompressed with either "unzip -d" or "tar -C $DIR
-xf"
In addition, only the following file suffixes / extensions result in
decompression:
-tgz
-tar.gz
-tbz2
-tar.bz2
-tar.xz
-txz
-zip
