People ignored my comment in MESOS-2058 so I'm creating a dedicated issue.
Task counters in the left panel of mesos ui are empty. This bug appeared in
0.23.0 and wasn't fixed in 0.24.0.

I though about fixing it myself, but lack of response discouraged me from doing
so.
