[~lins05] We decided to implement simple discovery as it was a simple but
effective way of serving images in data centers like Twitter with minimum
maintenance. We have taken some liberty to change the simple discovery (eg.
flexible url scheme) to make it a bit more simple , yet useful.
Also, there is a small possibility that Appc might still bring back simple
discovery.
