[~fan.du] no problem! I just spoke with Jie and he's going to have a look at
the patch soon. I went ahead and added him as shepherd to this ticket since he
said he's willing to work on it; in the future, you could try sending a direct
email to a committer who has expressed interest, asking them explicitly if you
can add them to the ticket as a shepherd. Likewise, when a ticket is ready for
your shepherd to look at it, you can send them a direct email letting them know
the status of the ticket. Sending a notice like that can be helpful, since
committers are often assigned to many issues and it can be hard to keep track
of all of them :-)
