Hans van den Bogert commented on MESOS-4797:
--------------------------------------------
Well, maybe I'm pedantic, but deprecating a function shouldn't actually change
its behaviour; the behaviour of the --weights flag has been changed.
Though the new documentation is very clear, it could still be an "aha" moment
for users when hit by the warning and read the documentation afterwards.
That said, I'm not really reliant on the old behaviour and I doubt other people
are. I just brought it up in order to get understand to what extent a project
like Mesos takes its deprecation policies as described in
https://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/msg33715.html
> Add a couple of registrar tests for /weights endpoint
