Summary: Build needs be independent from host packages

As Mesos ships its 3rdparty dependencies in the repo, the build must not fail
if some of these dependencies are installed on the host, in the same or other
versions.
For example, on CentOS 7, the build fails if glog is installed. I previously
had problems with protobuf aswell.
