Yan Xu commented on MESOS-7365:
-------------------------------
Looks like this breaks on glibc versions < 2.13.90-12 (see MESOS-7378), should
we do this conditionally? Otherwise we have to drop support for glibc <
2.13.90-12 for this (despite that nothing else breaks on it).

> error: In the GNU C Library, "major" is defined
> by <sys/sysmacros.h>. For historical compatibility, it is
> currently defined by <sys/types.h> as well, but we plan to
> remove this soon. To use "major", include <sys/sysmacros.h>
> directly. If you did not intend to use a system-defined macro
> "major", you should undefine it after including <sys/types.h>. [-Werror]
> entry.selector.major = major(device.get());
> ^~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
> {noformat}
> Observed on recent Arch Linux, GCC 6.3.1, glibc 2.25-1.
