There is a small set of [interesting ZK
events|https://github.com/apache/mesos/blob/0c2a9f46de6b34468a938f739c4243b13ff8a034/include/mesos/zookeeper/group.hpp#L203-L208].
It would be good to emit metrics on these events. It would be helpful for
detecting ZK connectivity failures.
