Andreas Peters commented on MESOS-10174:
----------------------------------------

To all:

This message is not nice and for new peoples it could be misdirect them if they
have other problems. So, if we want fix it we have to keep in mind:

1) hadoop does not need HADOOP_HOME. So it can be that these os env is unset.

2) Mesos does not need --hadoop_home to use hadoop. So there will be
installations who use hadoop without these parameter.

Conclusion: We can not just use these simple rule to find out if hadoop is
installed or not. If we do, we will break someones installation. If someone
have a good idea how to prettify these message, let a comment please. :)
