I'm assuming you are using our single node vagrant environment (host is node1 
instead of node)?  The Management UI authenticates against the REST app, which 
in full dev is configured for the "dev" profile.  This profile loads a test 
user in the database with credentials "user/password".  See 
https://github.com/apache/metron/tree/master/metron-interface/metron-rest#spring-profiles
 for more detail.

Normally you would setup your own users or authentication mechanism in a 
production environment.
