ruffle1986 commented on issue #1306: METRON-1941: Alert Escalation Not Consistent in Alerts UI URL: https://github.com/apache/metron/pull/1306#issuecomment-448269342 @nickwallen Unfortunately, there's no any spec files in place to test it and it requires a lot of mocking in order to test this small "feature" because the component is already a huge "monolith". We're planning to cover the functionalities with the proper unit and integration tests. We already have an [ASF Jira ticket](https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/METRON-1907) on this. I've linked the two together an set it as it incorporates with the aforementioned migrating ticket. If you agreed, we could merge the two independently from each other.
