JonZeolla commented on issue #21: METRON-1911 Docker setup for testing bro plugin URL: https://github.com/apache/metron-bro-plugin-kafka/pull/21#issuecomment-449766454 For Q3 I was thinking a quick win would be making sure the number of messages pulled off of kafka lines up with the number of log lines written to disk by bro in .log files (after removing the standard bro log file header, or we change the bro config to write JSON to disk and just do a 1:1 comparison). Of course we could take it further and look at content as well. I don't think that necessarily needs to be a part of this PR although it could be.
