Issue was reproducible with code apache/master 722eb6
Steps to reproduce performance issue
* start typing to the manual filter input to have the sense of initial type
speed
* start switching manual query mode on and off multiple times (10+)
* start typing to manual filter input again, you should experience significant
lag in typing
* more on/off leads to bigger lag
By turning bound values to getters with consol.log messages I was able to see
by the number of on/off turns the bounded getters was invoked in an increased
times.
