Recent versions of SOLR provide for excellent eventTime based collection
creation and retirement. This provides for automatically creating collections
for each time 'bin', dynamically routing documents tot he correct collection
based on event time, and for (optionally) removing collections once they get to
a certain age.
For running a SOLR-based Metron deploy in production, this will reduce admin
overhead greatly.
