Nick Allen commented on METRON-271:
-----------------------------------
1. Problems encountered with option 1.
* I have been unable to find the appropriate settings to set a custom HBase
znode parent of /hbase-unsecure. To skirt this issue, I have just updated my
deployed version of HBase to use /hbase as the znode parent.
* This can communicate with HBase 1.1.x as expected.
* This attempts to use Elasticsearch as a search backend despite my best
efforts to tell it to use a different search backend.
* Open question on Stack Overflow -
http://stackoverflow.com/questions/38381838/titan-how-to-use-inmemory-search-backend
2. Problems encountered with option 2.
* The latest release of Titan does not support Hbase 1.1+
3. Problems encountered with option 3.
* This can communicate with HBase 1.1.x as expected.
* This attempts to use Elasticsearch as a search backend despite my best
efforts to tell it to use a different search backend.
* Open question on Stack Overflow - same as above
