I had to refer to my licensing expert in Billie because I was confused
about some of the entries in NOTICE that had mention of the original author of
some project. I wasn't sure if this should be interpreted as a copyright
statement, and thus kept in the NOTICE file.
Billie pointed me back to
http://apache.org/dev/licensing-howto.html#mod-notice and clarified that those
mentions should really only be captured in the LICENSE file. Let me know if
it's not clear what I'm referring to.
