on the dev mailing list, the kafka plugin should merge the bro kafka plugin
from [bro-plugins/kafka](https://github.com/bro/bro-plugins/tree/master/kafka)
with the [METRON-812](https://github.com/apache/incubator-metron/pull/501)
updates and host it as a [bro package](https://github.com/bro/packages).
