Confirmed that fixed my prior issue in the storm logs. Thanks @dlyle65535!
I'm still unable to confirm that this is working entirely as expected,
though. It appeared to be working for a minute there (ES counts were
incrementing). Everything is working fine w/the kafka topics, but I'm having
some issues with storm that I need to look into.
