I just had a quick look into it and this is hardcoded in the library we use
(org.coursera:metrics-datadog:1.1.14). Until there is a stable 2.0 release of
this library, I'm not sure we can do much... I'd recommend the approach with
the local agent running and the reporting task sending the data to the local
agent.
