Scheduled outage of (deprecated) bintray service surfaced this issue. Groovy 2.5.4 was the only dependency relying on this repository. Maven Central has the Groovy 2.5 line available starting at 2.5.6. Full run of unit test suite surfaced only a minor adverse interaction with the Spock test framework.
