There are several valuable use cases for integrating HashiCorp Vault into NiFi:
* Encryption/decryption of sensitive properties in NiFi/NiFi Registry
configuration files using Vault's Transit Secrets Engine
* Exposing parts of Vault's API as a Controller Service to enable future
Vault-related processors to be created
* Adding a Vault-backed option for Secrets Management in Parameter Contexts
