In controlrate it is possible to set the pace via Time Duration. However it is
currently not possible to go more granular than one second.
Having 10 or 100 messages per second is something, but having the ability to go
deeper, allowing for instance a message every 10 or 100 ms would be nice, and
consistent with the run schedule settings.

This may become more important with the rise of parameterized deployments as it
is possible to configure controlrate with parameters, but not the scheduling
settings of other processors.
