#### Description of PR
NIFI-5174 Updates the project README.md to remove reference to ongoing work
for compatibility with Java 11. Additional updates include removing outdated
references to Git as a requirement for Bower, which is no longer used as of
NIFI-2781.
NiFi 1.14.0 incorporated several important improvements supporting TLS 1.3
on both Java 8 and 11, which was one of the last remaining sub-tasks listed for
NIFI-5174. With JDK 11 as one of the standard automated builds, and with all
the current sub-tasks closed for NIFI-5714, additional work specific to Java 11
can be handled in separate issues.
In order to streamline the review of the contribution we ask you
to ensure the following steps have been taken:

- [ ] If applicable, have you updated the `NOTICE` file, including the main

.name (programmatic access) for each of the new properties?
### For documentation related changes:
- [X] Have you ensured that format looks appropriate for the output in which
it is rendered?
