My NiFi instance is calibrated to work on files rather than records: i have
good monitoring, long provenance repository retention, logs, and even ELK. It
works perfectly fine in that way.
But i have more and more business requirements to use NiFi as record transform
tool: download data from databases, kafkas, enrichment, which generates lots of
provenances.
I have possibility to filter (exclude) group from provenance S2S export which i
use to export data to ELK which i used to use as fast search throught all logs.
But i cannot filter those record from standard provenance repository which i
use as long term provenance storage.
It would be great if there would be option in processor/group to disable
provenance from storing in provenance reporsitory.
