Joe Witt commented on NIFI-10600: --------------------------------- Two parts here: 1. making sure to update the release guide/process so that the RM creates the convenience binary and includes it in what we push as artifacts to the official ASF repositories. 2. creating/updating the links on the nifi apache website to use those artifacts. For now we could link to maven but the generally approved/accepted practice in Apache is to use the official mirrors/archive for all convenience binaries. Though we do indeed use Maven repositories for an additional convenience to aid development and such. > Add NiFi Kafka Connector Assembly Link to Downloads > --------------------------------------------------- > > Key: NIFI-10600 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/NIFI-10600 > Project: Apache NiFi > Issue Type: Task > Components: Documentation & Website > Reporter: David Handermann > Assignee: David Handermann > Priority: Minor > > The Apache NiFi Kafka Connector Assembly is available for download from Maven > Central when searching on {{{}nifi-kafka-connector-assembly{}}}, but it is > not linked directly from the Apache NiFi Downloads page. The Downloads page > should be updated to include a direct link to Maven Central, making the NiFi > Kafka Connector easily accessible to new users. -- This message was sent by Atlassian Jira (v8.20.10#820010)
